Synopsis

My Thoughts
Wait, I have to have thoughts other than “Gimmie it” Okay fine, I’ll come up with words. Holy crap, I need this book in my hands immediately. This is one book that I will more than likely be pre-ordering at the beginning of 2016. Mystery/thrillers always seem to excite me. Plus I love stories that have friendship as a major theme and the friendship between Julia & Liz sounds potentially complicated.

My Thoughts
First of all, this cover is gorgeous. It hooks me in right away, which is what a cover is supposed to do. The synopsis pulls me in further. Sister stories are my jam. I am hoping this book is an improvement on the sister stories I’ve read in 2015. Throw in the blackmail aspects of this book and it all adds up to something I’m super stoked about.

My Thoughts
I am so excited for this book. I feel like YA has a significant lack of books with female friendships as the focus. I think this one will be an awesome read. Friendships are so important in YA and I feel like they aren’t given enough attention in books. Romance plotlines seems to override friendship plotlines. It also sounds like it’s going to feature a toxic friendship, which I also think is important.

My Thoughts
First of all, that cover is utterly stunning. It’s gorgeous and drool-worthy. I need this book for the cover alone. As for the rest of it, I love books that feature mental institutions & mental health issues. I love the “tough stuff,” so this book is totally up my alley and I cannot wait to get a copy of this book.

I must have this book. It sounds intriguing, fascinating and awesome all at the same time. I don’t even know what to expect with this book, but I do know I have to have it. I love the concept of slowly unraveling secrets. It also sounds like things may not be as they seem, so YAY!

My Thoughts
Normally I’m not a huge fan of historical fiction, but I loved Blankman’s first two books (Prisoner of Night and Fog & Conspiracy of Blood & Smoke) so I cannot wait for more of her words. Her duology blew me away so I feel confident in saying that I’ll enjoy this book even if it’s a genre I don’t normally read.

Ooooh, yay! Another Morgan Matson book. I am so, SO excited for this book. Is it May 2016 yet because I really, really want to read this book. It looks like a perfect summery read and I cannot wait to have this book in my hands.

My Thoughts
So excited for this book. There is so few books about trans teenagers and I think there needs to be a whole lot more. Trans teenagers need to know & feel that they aren’t alone in the world. I cannot wait to read this book. Plus, I’m so in love with the cover, it’s not even funny. It’s simple, but eye-catching.

My Thoughts
This book wasn’t even on my radar until recently. I happened to see it on someone else’s social media (Instagram, I think?) and I went to look it up. After reading the synopsis, I knew I had to read this book. It looks right up my alley. It looks like a hard read, emotionally, but I love those kinds of books.

My Thoughts
I loved Elle Cosimano’s first book Nearly Gone and am hoping to read the sequel, Nearly Found, soon. So when I found out she had a third book coming  out, I was super excited. When I read the synopsis, I was instantly intrigued by it. I normally am not a big fan of paranormal, but I’ll be making an exception for this book.

What book are you excited about?
